A walk team is a group of people who unite together for IDF Walk for Primary Immunodeficiency. The average team is made up of about 10 or more people who have a connection to the PI community, but teams can be any size—including just you! Teammates can be family, friends, coworkers, club members, members of a shared community group and neighbors. The Team Captain leads the team to reach a fundraising goal together. These funds benefit the PI community and make it possible for the Immune Deficiency Foundation to continue to improve the diagnosis, treatment and quality of life of people affected by primary immunodeficiency through fostering a community empowered by advocacy, education, and research.
You will find it extremely rewarding to recruit, motivate and organize your friends, family and coworkers. Share your story, and inspire them to come together and make a difference for the PI community at one of our Walks.
How to Create a Team
Once you've found the Walk that you want to participate in, click "Register" and then "Create Account" to get started. You will be guided through the simple registration process. Just remember, when you see "Step 2," be sure to select "Create Team." Then simply Choose a Team Name, come up with a dollar amount for your Team Goal, and you're on your way!
Once you've created your team and completed your registration for the location of your choice, you will be able to customize your page with a personal welcome message, profile photo, campaign photo, and more. Then you can share with friends and family to start making an impact as soon as possible!
